Hollie was one a couple of weeks ago. We went out for a meal, it was nice spending time with her and Amy. It's amazing how fast she's growing. A few months ago she said her first word and now she's babbling away in a language I can't understand but makes me think she's going to be a chatterbox when she's older. She's starting to learn to walk too, she pulls herself up for a minute before plopping back down on her bum. It just makes her laugh and try again, she's stubborn and determined already, she'll be a force to be reckoned with in no time.
Is one too young to take her trick or treating? Maybe Hollie and Rose can go together? Is it too early for that? Amy will come too as it's Hollie's first Halloween. Should they be kept separate? While the thought of them fighting over me is kind of amusing I hardly think it would be in reality. I'm not sure who would win though. Penny is very practical though Any has that lots of energy thing going on. There should be a book on this kind of stuff; rules and guidelines which states how soon things can be mentioned or brought up or whether certain people can interact or if it's too soon. How do people cope?
Ok. Back to grading papers before Monday.

With the end of summer comes work once again. Oddly enough I'm enjoying it right now. Maybe it's because everyone still has the summer feeling and they're full of pep and bounce. They'll all be back to their sullen my-dog-ate-my-homework ways soon though. Mark my words.
I'm taking my little girl to the zoo this weekend, I think I'm more excited than her but then she isn't one yet so I think it's understandable.

private.I saw Penny on Friday. It was nice seeing her. I wish it was under different circumstances though. I feel guilty for being glad she's back what with her mom being sick.
She's still as beautiful as I remember. /private.
